Lockdown Worship

Lock down Worship: Another blessed Lord's Day to worship and remember our precious Savior as He commanded us to do. Praise God I was able to do that in spite of the lock down. It brings to mind the experience of the beloved apostle John banished to the penal colony on the island of Patmos by the cruel emperor Domitian. John, isolated, locked down, banished. quarantined, lonely and suffering, without fellowship, food, folks and fun. But he was worshiping in the Spirit, keeping the spotlight on the glories of the only true Lord and God, Jesus Christ. Though separated form his congregation at Ephesus by 40 miles of Aegean water, John sought the Lord on the Lord's Day. He was blessed beyond measure by the majestic vision of the Son of Man. Yes, Covid,, quarantine, or lock down, anyone who seeks to worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth will be rewarded by the vision of the unsurpassable glories of the Son of God. "And He placed His right hand on me, saying, "Do not be afraid..........I am alive for evermore and I have the keys of death and of Hades."
